About Jitendu
What began as a modest pastime focused on exercise, martial arts, and various fitness methodologies, coupled with a deep fascination for human physiology and a desire to alleviate others’ physical discomfort, has now evolved into a promising new venture. Throughout my upbringing, physical activity, fitness, and martial arts were my steadfast companions, leading me to explore diverse training techniques while simultaneously pursuing self-education in fitness alongside my career in information technology. The turning point came during the COVID-19 pandemic when I embraced the opportunity to fully engage with my passion. This journey commenced as “Pondy Fitness and Massage” with providing therapeutic massage to a homebound client suffering from severe knee pain, who was unable to undergo knee replacement surgery due to the pandemic, among few others. I am proud to report that I successfully postponed the surgery for two years, significantly enhancing their quality of life during that time. Gradually, my skills in massage therapy gained recognition among friends, family, and acquaintances, allowing me to establish a small clientele. This experience has also opened doors for me to conduct fitness and yoga classes at various client locations. Now, I am taking a proactive step to expand my reach, aiming to serve a broader community while sharing my knowledge and learning from others. My aspiration is to foster a healthier, happier, and more balanced life for everyone, as I firmly believe that all individuals deserve the opportunity to live well.

I wanted to practise stretching exercises/Yoga aasanaa as required when my age clocked 70.
There is really no need for yoga to be daunting just as gardeners do not need to be a botanist. The exercises taught by Mr. Jitendu make the full practices so simple without submerging into its complexities. Both confidence and competence are developed by his teaching methods. I have received massages and also learned Yoga exercises from Jitendu. Jitendu had done multiple massages for me for both my back & neck. As an expert masseuse, I found Jitendu to be unique in the following ways: (a) His massages are always focused on a specific ailment or pain that the patient is facing versus a generic full body massage. (b) He understands the trigger points in the body very well and is able to reduce pain through their release. (c) He provided me with exercises and follow up treatments post the massage. He also called me multiple times to enquire if the pain was less and I was feeling better. (d) He has powerful finger strength & stamina to carry on the massage for longer durations. In terms of Yoga exercises, Jitendu is well versed in the different Asanas. He has recommended and trained me in numerous exercises over the years that have helped me to heal my body from pain.
